Our letters/sounds are "p" and "s," color is yellow, number is six and shape is star.
In math we will continue to learn about numbers to 10 and different ways to make those numbers. For example, you can make 7 by putting 5 and 2 together, or 3 and 4. We will also work on comparing those numbers to ten. For example, we will learn that 7 is 3 less than 10. If you want your child to practice these skills on the Go Math website, we are on Chapter 3.
In science we will learn about the sense of touch. Smokey the Bear should be coming for a visit on Friday to teach us about fire safety.
A big thank you goes to our Superintendent, Nina Marks, for donating the clothes for our dress up center. That was a very popular center today. Here are the students at centers.
