First Week of School

The children have been very busy learning all of the procedures of our class.  They have been learning how to go to centers, walk in line, raise hands to speak, to use a quiet voice in the classroom, to take turns and much more! They also learned where everything in the school is located.   On the first day they went on a gingerbread hunt and searched the school for the gingerbread man who left clues for them to find.  There were clues hidden in the office, computer lab, art room, gym, cafeteria and many more places!  The children were able to see the whole school but they never caught him...however, he did leave a yummy snack when we were finally back in our room!  We read The Kissing Hand and made you hand prints with kisses so that you wouldn't be lonely when your child went to kindergarten.  Here are pictures of our great learners exploring some of the centers in our classroom.
