Reading: We are starting Unit 6, which is about Neighborhoods. Here is a link to fun activities for you and your child to do: Russ and the Firehouse.  Here is a link for the family letter:  Neighborhoods Week 1.     The new letter/sound is "H" and the new sight word is "are."
Math:  We will finish up our unit on comparing numbers 10-20 and take a test on Wednesday.  Be sure your child knows how to write those numbers and put them in order, both forwards and backwards.  Thursday is our 100th Day of School.  We will do many fun activities including making 100 Day Trail Mix and 100 Day Necklaces with Fruit Loops.  We need volunteers any time on Thursday from 8:45-12:00.  Please write me a note if you can help.  Your child's project is to bring in a collection of 100 things.  Be creative.  The specifics for the project are in your child's BEE Book in the Important Notes part.
