Reading:This week our class will continue to learn about transportation. Here is the link to fun activities about this topic: On The Go. Here is the link to the parent letter: Transportation Week 2.
The letter/sound is "i," the color is brown, shape is hexagon and number is eight. The new sight word is "go."
Math: We will finish up Chapter 3, which is about the numbers 6-10. We will take a test Wednesday on this and begin Chapter 4, which is adding and subtraction.
Important Info: The Canned Food Drive will be until November 16th. Our class goal is 60 cans. Right now we have 17. The class that collects the most non-perishable food items will receive a pizza party in the courtyard.
Remember to return your child's Book-It reading calendar to receive a personal pan pizza coupon from Pizza Hut the month of October. I will send another one for November.
Report cards go home this Thursday. Please review, sign and send back the green copy. The white copy is yours to keep.
There is no school Friday because of Seafood Festival. We will not have show and tell this week. The students can bring the "I" show and tell next Friday.
